How we checked

We make DuctWright, so we're not neutral. Prices and features come from each company's public pricing and product pages, read on September 19, 2026. We haven't used the other products ourselves. Where we rely on reviews from other sites, we say so. Plans change, so confirm on their site before you decide.

Sources, read September 19, 2026: Housecall Pro, Jobber, Zenbooker, FieldVibe. Reported prices: ServiceTitan (Projul), Service Fusion (HVAC Software Hub).

What the price doesn't tell you

Cheaper isn't always better. FieldVibe and Zenbooker cost less than DuctWright for some teams. They focus on booking and reminders, not on HVAC equipment records and maintenance plans. Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan cost more and do more, including payments, GPS tracking and payroll.

Look at what you'd use every week. For most small HVAC shops that's quotes, invoices, dispatch, maintenance plans and knowing what equipment is in the house.

Questions

How much does HVAC field service software cost?

Published plans run from about $20 to $500 a month for a small team. ServiceTitan doesn't publish prices, and reviews report far more, with a setup fee.

Why do some HVAC tools hide their price?

They sell through demos and sales calls, so the price depends on your size and the plan. DuctWright lists every price.

Is per-user or per-team pricing cheaper?

It depends on your size. Per-user pricing costs more as you add techs. DuctWright charges one flat price for each band of 1, 2 to 5, and 6 to 10 techs.

What software do most HVAC companies use?

There's no single answer, and nobody publishes market share. The names that come up most are Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Service Fusion. They held most of the top spots in Google results for HVAC software searches in September 2026. Many shops pair one of them with QuickBooks for the books.

Is there any free HVAC software?

A few tools have free tiers or free trials, and the free tiers are limited. FieldVibe's Solo plan is free for one user, but it has no quotes or invoices. Housecall Pro offers a 14-day free trial with no card. DuctWright also has a 14-day free trial with no card, then plans start at $29 a month.
